$4.77 as of now. Not sure it's going to spike from the aftermath of Hurricane Ike

I've actually saved a considerable amount this month by riding my enduro motorcycle  60 MPG

Are you kidding Northern Virginia is like one of the most expensive places overall to live, Granted it's not Hawaii, CA.

I just happen to be in the area for some reason that has the lowest gas prices in the area. Mainly becasue of competition there is an Exxon, BP, Sunoco, Sheetzs, Shell, Citcgo and a WAWA within a 1/2 mile radius.  Every where else around here it's ove $4.00  saw one place and it was $4.50.

A gallon of milk here on Maui is $9 if that puts things in perspective. Loaf of store brand bread, $3 to $4, eggs a dozen, $4-$5 ......... Undecided

It's about the same here as FL. $4.00 for milk store brand, $2.00 eggs, $1.50 for cheap white bread and $3.50-4.00 for any bread worth buying.

Hello wassie, and welcome

That's not too bad of a price for petrol. At least it's not as bad as in the UK per litre. What octane rating?
