update, going back tomorrow and going to try and attempt to start it, with new oil, gas and maybe plugs.

well the car cranked over, but with a gallon of gas in the tank all it did was suck in air, which sounded like it was comming from a hole in a metal line around the fuel filter.  i couldnt get the intake of the fuel pump off to run it off my gas can, i only had one jack stand and the pump is much harder to get to than my 280.

the owner did say the guy who gave it to him told him it was a rare model, the vin was weird, i think it was 1760003. i decoded it but it just tells you the engine, body type ect.

it did have recaro's they looked pretty small if they were to be adapted to a benz. should i take them out?
